Winter Movies

The Greatest Showman
A musical about a circus, with music by Pasek and Paul, and Zac Efron singing again. This movie was made for me.

I can't tell if this is going to be funny or sad. Jacob wants to see it, so we probably will.

Molly's Game
I like Jessica Chastain and love Aaron Sorkin. I'm also totally interested in learning about this true story.

The Post

All the Money in the World
I already wanted to see this, but now I'm even more curious to see how Spacey was replaced.

I don't like Westerns, but Karen insists this is a good movie, so I'll see it!

Phantom Thread
It looks like another incredible performance by Daniel Day-Lewis.

Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool
I want to be Annette Bening when I grow up.

Based on the most haunted house in the world? I'm in!

Black Panther
This is probably the most anticipated movie of 2018, right? I gotta see it, too!

I've heard the books are good and it's got a great cast. I'm intrigued.

Every Day
I liked this YA book, but I'll probably wait to stream this movie.

A Wrinkle In Time
I've never read the story, or had an interest in it, but this movie looks pretty great.

Strangers: Prey At Night
The first movie scared the crap out of me. And Christina Hendricks is in this one!

The cast is incredible in this dark comedy/action flick!

Also playing this winter: Pitch Perfect 3, Bright, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Father Figures, Proud Mary, Insidious: The Last Key, The Commuter, Paddington 2,  The Current War, 12 Strong, Forever My Girl, Den of Thieves, Arctic Justice Thunder Squad, Maze Runner: The Death Cure, Cloverfield 2017, Fifty Shades Freed, Peter Rabbit, Early Man, Game Night, War With Grandpa, Death Wish, Alpha, Red Sparrow, The Hurricane Heist, The Upside

What looks good to you?

I want to see Molly's Game because I love Sorkin :)
I hadn't hear of The Post but it looks good!
I like westerns, but that one looks too dark.
Every Day seems super interesting...

Jumanji is so freaking funny! Christian Bale? Count me in. A coworker saw The Greatest Showman this weekend and raved about it.

Strangers is tied as my favorite scary movie (as far as suspense/being scared goes, tied with Vacancy) so I am excited to see this one. At some point years ago I liked their FB page so I've been seeing the ads lol!

I can't believe Christopher Plummer came in and did his scenes in nine days for All the Money in the World - and has received nomination! That makes me really intrigued to see it.
