Winter Movies

I plan to spend every day of Christmas break at the movies! Here's what I can't wait to see this winter.

The Big Short
I'm probably more excited for this movie than any other this month.

Sisters
I feel like it's going to be pretty stupid, but I'll laugh a lot so it'll be worth it.

The Hateful Eight
Quentin Tarantino. Enough said.

The Revenant
Will Leo finally get his Oscar?

Joy
David O. Russell? Jennifer Lawrence? Bradley Cooper? I'm in! Even if it is about the Huggable Hangers lady.

Concussion
This looks amazing and still so relevant.

Anomalisa
I'm so curious about this stop-animation movie for adults. The plot looks pretty great.

13 Hours
This looks intense!

Hail, Caesar!
I'm all over this one. It looks so entertaining, has a great cast, and it's the Coen brothers!

How To Be Single
I didn't know this was based on a book until a few weeks ago. It looks pretty funny.

Race
I love sports/Olympics/history movies. This one looks good!

Triple 9
I like a good heist film. Great cast!

Dirty Grandpa
I  really don't think this looks good at all, but...Zac. (Aubrey Plaza, too.)

Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children
No trailer yet, but I read the book and I like the cast. Tim Burton will do a great job with it.

Arms and the Dudes
No trailer yet, but the subject matter and cast make me want to see it.

Batman V Superman
Ben Affleck.

I Saw the Light
I'm impressed by what I see from Tom Hiddleston just in the trailer!

Also playing this winter: Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Point Break, Daddy's Home, The Forest, Ride Along 2, The 5th Wave, The Finest Hours, Kung Fu Panda 3, Jane Got A Gun, Zoolander 2, Deadpool, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Gods of Egypt, The Brothers Grimsby, London Has Fallen, Zootopia, The Free State of Jones, Allegiant, and The Little Prince.

What are you excited to see?

I'm seeing Star Wars tonight! TWICE! (Yes, we're total nerds and I don't care!)

I'm pretty much excited about all of these except the Dirty Grandpa one. I'm with you about The Big Short. Even Chris wants to see it and he tends to skip movies that get major award buzz.

Tom Hiddleston - Drool

I definitely want to see The Big Short. The cast is amazing. I plan to see Sisters and The Hateful Eight. I loved Silver Linings Playbook, so I imagine Joy will be just as great. And JLaw.

And I'll see Batman V Superman even though I don't have high hopes.

John Krasinski. Swoon. I love Miles Teller, too, and that movies seems really interesting.

I cannot wait for The Hateful Eight and The Big Short.

Already got my tickets for Star Wars tonight! I didn't even know there were so many great movies coming out! I was already excited to see Joy and Sisters, but Zoolander 2 and Allegiant are definitely up there! I'm going to have to watch some of these trailers- thanks for sharing!
