Oprah's Favorite Things 2015

Oprah just shared her favorite things for 2015 in O Magazine and on Amazon.com/Oprah. I always look forward to this list to get ideas for Christmas gifts for myself (oops) and my loved ones, even though everything is outrageous, totally unnecessary, and typically of my price range. A girl can dream, right? Here are some things I have my eye on:

Modern Sprout Garden Jar Three-Pack: Herb Essentials $54 "Made in the U.S.A., a vintage-inspired mason jar containing a self-watering hydroponic system that grows herbs. I love the idea of giving a set—my faves are basil, parsley, and mint." —Oprah

We tried to grow herbs in our garden this year, but they didn't survive. I'd love to try again.

SKITS Providence Brilliant Tablet and Cords Shoulder Bags $425 "Look inside this very chic Saffiano leather shoulder bag, and you'll find compartments for your tablet, phone, and charging cords, plus your regular purse essentials. I happen to love it in white—it's the perfect combo of pretty and practical." —Oprah

I don't travel a ton, but when I do, cords and devices are hard to keep organized. This would be perfect!

Hesperides Grapefruit Bath & Shower Gel and Body Lotion Set $43 "With notes of grapefruit and bergamot, this shower gel and body lotion (which contain vitamins C and E and skin-softening Shea butter) smell absolutely delicious." —Oprah

She had me at grapefruit.

The Ultimate Lacquer Wardrobe: An Oprah Exclusive $150 "You know why I love this set of nail polishes I handpicked? It reminds me of one of my all-time favorite things: the box of 64 Crayolas I had in third grade. The pigments are super rich, and the lacquer is free of formaldehyde, toluene, and DBP. Color me wowed!" —Oprah

So pretty!

Hakuho-do + Sephora Pro Kan Kabe Perfection Brush Set $148 "I collect makeup brushes, and I think this fancy set, hand-assembled by artisans in Japan, is a great present for the woman who has everything. The six luxurious, precise brushes (designed for highlighting, contouring, powdering and concealing) come in a bento box-inspired wooden case." —Oprah

I could really use a new set of makeup brushes.

T-fal OptiGrill $180 "You've heard of a smartphone—here's a smart grill. Even an amateur can get flawless results with this nonstick, dishwasher-safe device, which has a built-in sensor to adapt cooking time to the thickness of any meat. An indicator light tells you when you've reached your desired doneness for easy-breezy cooking." —Oprah

Perfect for Jacob! I think I might get him this for his birthday. Shhhh...

Fujifilm Instax Share Smartphone Printer $350 "No matter how high-tech we become, people still love an old-school instant pic. This ingenious battery-powered device lets you print photos via Wi-Fi from Apple and Android phones and tablets." —Oprah

I wish I had this when I had to come up with actual pictures when Nolan was star student at school!

7R Global Rolling Suitcases $650-$850 "I know these suitcases are pricey, but they're worth it. Lightweight yet durable with leather handles, a water-resistant zipper, a limited lifetime warranty and 360-degree spinning wheels (navigating terminals is effortless), they're the ultimate travel companions." —Oprah

I'm in desperate need for a luggage upgrade and definitely want 360 wheels.

Sweet Lady Jane Deep Dish Cherry Pie $60 "Move over, yule log cake—there's a new holiday dessert in town, and it makes a great hostess gift. California bakery Sweet Lady Jane has created a very merry, soon-to-be legendary, dare we say necessary, simply extraordinary deep-dish cherry pie. The buttery crust is the icing on the...oops!" —Oprah

I'm not much of a pie person, except when it comes to cherry.

Minted Foil Art Prints $120 "When a little one's drawing is more masterpiece than fridge-magnet material, upload a photo of the artwork to Minted. They'll transform it into a letter-pressed, foil-pressed or standard art print available in a variety of colors and frames." —Oprah

What an amazing way to hang the kids' artwork!

MadeClose Stainless Steel Cookware Set $449 "It may look like a typical cookware set, but these stainless steel pans, pots and lids, manufactured in Wisconsin, have a special power: They're designed with technology that allows for healthy vapor cooking, which heats food faster and at lower temps, locks in flavor and nutrients and eliminates the need for added oils or fats." —Oprah

I also need a cookware upgrade. Our wedding stuff isn't cutting it after nine years.

Beats by Dr. Dre Powerbeats2 Wireless In-Ear Headphones $200 "Club-quality sound in a gadget not much bigger than a paper clip. Lightweight and colorful with flexible ear hooks, these new sweat-resistant and tangle-proof headphones are your new workout buddy." —Oprah

Every year she puts Beats on her list and every year I want them.

FootNanny Foot Treatment Gift Set $102 "Gloria Williams, a.k.a. the Foot Nanny, gives the world's most indulgent pedicure. If you can't make it for a session in California, this kit—a relaxing salt, a luxurious cream and treatment socks you leave on for an hour after soaking and lotioning—is mighty nice also." —Oprah

I love foot products!

Corkcicle Canteen Insulated Stainless Steel Bottle/Thermos $20-$33 "It may look like a regular water bottle, but when Adam told me this triple-insulated stainless steel vessel—which keeps drinks cold for up to 25 hours and hot for up to 12—is the perfect size to tote a carafe's worth of rosé, I was sold!" —Oprah

I'm such a sucker for new water bottles!

Sonic Snow Tubes $109-$150 "I have a sledding hill at my Telluride house, and I'm going to stash some of these durable buffalo plaid snow tubes there for guests who like to go fast and look good doing it." —Oprah

If we get any snow in the mountains this year, we're totally going tubing. These are so cute!

Coltellerie Berti Cheese Knife Set $245 "This set of three steel-and-Lucite knives, handmade in Italy and presented in a beautiful wooden box, continues a tradition more than a century old: One artisan creates each knife from start to finish and engraves his or her initials on the blade. Pair it with the recipient's favorite cheese for a truly personal gift." —Oprah

I have some Pottery Barn cheese knives, but these are gorgeous. Man, I love cheese.

lol... all of this shit is way overpriced! My favorite things would probably be a lot more money if I made as much as Oprah does, too. Where is the Maybelline mascara, Oprah?!?! ;)

Oprah always puts together the best Christmas lists. Too bad I can't afford most of it! LOL

I have a suitcase with 360 wheels and it was a lifesaver getting on and off trains, as well as sailing through customs and immigration!
