Fall Film Challenge

I've been known to give myself movie challenges (A to Z, Tom Cruise, rom-coms) so when I saw this film challenge floating around (Karen and Stephanie both wrote about it), I knew I had to do it too. Jenn at Quirky Pickings hosts each year with prizes on the line, so that makes it even more fun. You just choose 25 movies you've never seen based on the prompts Jenn provided and watch them September 1 through November 30. Check out the official rules right here and join in! It was fun, but also kinda hard to pick movies that fit the prompts that I also wanted to see. This will be interesting.

You're going to kill this challenge, I know it. I suck at seeing movies. I am actually planning on seeing The Martian in the theater though.

I can't wait to see Black Mass.

I still remember seeing What Lies Beneath in the theater. I jumped out of my seat a few times.

Ooo good list! Tangled is cute. And I liked Blade Runner and A Knight's Tale a lot. I haven't seen quite a few on your list either, excited to see what you think of them.

Jenn hosted this challenge last year which encouraged me to finally see One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. So, I included a few "classics" on my list this time as well. Great list! Good luck.

Lots of great picks. I didn't know they made Room into a movie. I did read the book.

I have Tangled & Zookeeper on my list, too! I haven't seen the majority of your picks but they sound awesome!

A great list of movies, I can't wait to hear what you thought of Zookeeper as it is on my list too!

I definitely think choosing movies I actually really want to see is the most difficult part of a challenge like this. I tried to get out of my comfort zone a bit with some of my picks, but I wanted to make sure that, for the most part, I would have chosen these movies whether I was involved in the challenge or not.

I almost chose the Stanley Kubrick version of Lolita, but I'm pretty sure I've seen part of it. I haven't seen any of the newer version, though, so I chose that for my "movie featuring a child as the main character."

Heavenly Creatures is really weird, but I've seen it a couple of times ... So obviously I enjoyed it! It's kind of chilling when you consider that it's based on true events.
