NYC Holiday Windows: Barneys New York

Screw traditional window displays! Barneys New York and Jay Z teamed up to create "A New York Holiday," an interactive holiday installation, which was unveiled on Instagram. Four Madison Avenue windows feature video mapping, LED light design, projections, and viewer participation.

Reflections represents a broken-away piece of the bedrock of NYC. The structure is covered in thousands of mirrors. Check it out here

Floating City is inside of a structure built out onto the sidewalk so the public can enter the window and see the three minute 3D mapping and light projection show. Check it out here

City Lights uses constantly movieng patterns of LED lights to signify constant movement in New York City. Check it out here

BNY NYC Sleigh Ride is an interactive experience that allows visitors to enter the window and take an adventure through the city with a modern-day Santa and Mrs. Claus, played by performers from the Upright Citizen brigade. Check it out here.

In addition to the windows, the third floor of the store has been transformed into a gallery that uses 360-degree projection, exclusive content, lights, and movement to transport customers into the world of New York. In the gallery, you can shop the limited edition A New York Holiday Collection, designed by Jay Z, with 100% of sales going to the Shawn Carter Foundation.
