Happy Halloween

Since mid-September Nolan was 100% sure that he wanted to be a pumpkin for Halloween. Really? So lame! Luckily he changed his mind a week ago and suggested a knight. I have no idea where he got that idea, but I thought it was a good one. For weeks Milo told us he wanted to be a police car driver. I said, "Oh cool! A policeman!" He snapped back at me, "NO! A police car driver." Basically he wanted to be a police car. I wasn't sure how I was going to pull that off. But when we got home from Disneyland he said he wanted to be Mike from Monsters, Inc. It's funny because he's never seen the movie, but he's seen him everywhere this year because of Monsters University merchandise and he likes that he only has one eye. So Sunday night we fought the crowd at Party City. They had one knight costume left in Nolan's size but it was missing the cape. They offered it to us for 30% off. Done. They didn't carry many Disney costumes, so we headed to Target where lo and behold, there was one Mike costume left, in Milo's size. It couldn't have gone more perfectly.

So, I give you my knight (who insists on being called Sir Nole) and Mike Wazowski.

Happy Halloween!

They are so cute! I always wait until the last minute to get the costumes. Luckily I got both the boys what they wanted and they were both the last ones too.
