Jack & Sally

We have some new additions to our family! We adopted a pair of kittens from the local animal shelter last Friday. Nolan looked very carefully at each kennel until he chose these two because they look like mini tigers. Can't argue with that. They are adorable and so sweet. Naming them was difficult. I wanted to stay in the Beverly Hills, 90210 family (our last cat was named Brian Austin Green) and go with Brenda and Brandon, but Jacob was not having it. Instead we named them after the main characters in one of our favorite movies, The Nightmare Before Christmas. Yes, we know they are lovers, not brother and sister, but the names go together well and we couldn't come up with any sibling names we both agreed on. Introducing...

Jack

Sally

I've never adopted siblings before, but I highly recommend it! They are so easy to transition since they have a little buddy with them. They have been eating a ton, using the litter box perfectly, and since they cuddle up with each other at night, we have been sleeping in peace. Jack is very affectionate and such an adventurer. Sally is so sweet, but more reserved and follows her brother everywhere. They are both super playful and really easy with the kids. We're in love.

They are adorable! And I love their names because that's one of my favorite movies too! I also adopted siblings and it was great to see them grow up together! They are two big happy cats now!

Stop it. They're soooo cute!! I've been thinking of getting another kitty so my kitty (Marco Polo) isn't so lonely. But he also has a personality of his own that I don't think he'll want to share with another kitty. lol They are adorable!

I am completely freaking in love with them!!!! My heart just about burst looking at the one sitting in front of the computer. Our cat did that all the time when she was a teeny babe. Now I want a kitten!! :)

Shut UP with that cuteness! I love their markings. Our first two cats were siblings and we loved that. Now we have three and they're not related at all but they still occasionally do things like groom each other or snuggle up side by side.

They are precious.
We adopted our dog Blue from a shelter.
It's so awesome that you adopted both of them rather than split them up.

I have a confession - I'm afraid of cats lol! But they sound sane so I probably won't embarrass myself when I see them. In my defense I got cat scratch fever as a child - yeah it's real. Not just a song.

Hahaha when I saw your FB post it took me awhile to figure out who Sally was. I didn't understand why her name wasn't Diane. Oh, John Cougar lol!!
