noreply-comment@blogger.com & Word Verification

Ugh. The dreaded "noreply" blogger! I've got so many followers that I can't reply to. One of my favorite things about blogging is connecting and conversing. When you say something funny or ask a question in the comments of one of my posts, I want to talk about it! I never reply under you in the comments section because, be honest, who really goes back and looks for a response? I know I don't.  Maybe some of you like this? You aren't bogged down with a ton of correspondence. I get that. Sometimes I get overwhelmed too and take a long time to reply. Or is it because you don't want your email address out there? Create a new account that's just for your blog! Gmail is free. But I'm betting most you don't know how easy of a fix this is. I'm gonna break it down for you.

Open Blogger, click on your name/picture

Click "Blogger profile"

Click "Edit Profile"

Select the box next to "Show my email address"

 Hit save and you're done!
I hope to reply to you soon!

I've seen word verification (or captcha) on SO MANY blogs lately, including a bunch that never had it before.
Double check your settings, friends!

Click on your blog

 Click "Settings"

Click "Posts and comments"

Under the comments section, choose "no" for "Show word verification"

Hit save and you're done!

Please feel free to share and repost!

Love this! I did one of these posts a while ago because it felt like such a huge problem then but I feel like now even more people are no reply! Ugh. I will definitely share! :)

It is so easy to create a special blog email address to use (if someone doesn't want their personal email used). Even worse is when they ask a question and there isn't even an email on the blog!
