More Winter Nails

It's finally spring! I've been over winter for a while now (especially since we didn't get any snow this year) and have been sporting bright nails the last two months to help get over the grey.

Zoya - Moxie
I was surprised by how much I liked this berry color.

Julep - Adrianna
I chose this pistachio color at the parlor for St. Patrick's day.
I wasn't thrilled, but it was the only green available, and then I kind of fell in love with it.

Sinful Colors - Mint Apple
I love this color so much! I like that it's more mint than pastel green.
I usually don't like shimmers, but this was subtle enough that it didn't bother me.

Julep - Julianne
I'm not a huge fan of this smokey grey-blue. It's kind of boring.
This photo kind of makes my skin look grey too. I need a tan!

Zoya - Arizona
This bright citrus color is so fun! It looks more orange than yellow in natural light.

Julep - Courteney
I obviously have a thing for pale greens right now.
I bought this before I tried Adrianna. I like that one better.

Butter London - Teddy Girl
I seriously love this shade of pale pink, but I don't think I like Butter.
It's so thick and the brushes are too big for me. Boo!

Julep - Bette / Freedom Polymer Top Coat
I am IN LOVE with this top coat. It's super shiny, removes easily, and it lasts!
I always chip after 2-3 days, but this one prevents them for a long time.
The second picture is day six. Not bad at all!

Are you a Julep Maven? If not, sign up here. I can't get over how much I love this company! And don't forget to enter my giveaway! Someone will win Saved by the Bell seasons 1 & 2, three shades of Julep nail polish, Julep's Freedom top coat, and some other fun '90s goodies.

I seriously need a manicure, like bad! I was wondering about the Butter nailpoish. But I hate the kind that's super thick too.

I'm loving that citrusy color! I'm going to have to try that topcoat too (especially after I win the giveaway - haha). I'm sick of the chipping.

I was wondering about Butter too. I just can't see paying that much for it, especially not now that you've said that about their formula!

I think greens looks so good on you!

I'm wearing Betty today!! Love it. And I'm so dumb because I've had Freedom sitting there since January and have yet to try it. I need to get on that.

I'm glad you mentioned that about the Butter line. I swear I must have freakishly small nails or something because even OPI brushes seem HUGE to me!

Hi Christina,
I came across your page through the nail files link up. I have REALLY been considering purchasing a Butter London polish. Thanks for your honest review. Think polishes take too long to dry and are easily smudged.

Happy Friday,

I hate thick polish and huge brushes.

Lately, Essie is the only brand that hasn't been chipping quickly.

I totally need a top coat. I feel like I can never get my nails to last more than 2, maybe 3 days tops without chipping. Some very beautiful nail colors here (love the mint especially)!

Stopping by from A Peek at Karen's World. So very nice to meet you :)
