Winter Movies

I'm usually so excited for winter movies. We get a break from the big budget action flicks and can see some movies with heart and a good story. Unfortunately I'm not that interested in the majority of the movies coming out soon. Bummer. Here are the ones I do want to see.

The Fitzgerald Family Christmas
I'm a sucker for an Ed Burns drama. He's so cute! And it's a great cast.

Hyde Park on Hudson
The history nerd in me is so excited for this comedy/drama.

Save The Date
I already saw this movie and really liked it. I laughed, I cried. Alison Brie and Lizzy Caplan are some of my favorite people.

Zero Dark Thirty
This looks intense, but I'm a fan of Kathryn Bigelow and curious about the story.

This is 40
Who doesn't want to see this?

The Impossible
I'll have to bring an entire box of tissues to this one. I cry every time I see the trailer. Heart breaking/warming.

Django Unchained
What a cast! It doesn't look exceptionally pleasant, but should be a great movie.

Les Miserables
I can't wait! I'm very curious about the cast (especially boring Anne Hathaway), but I'm excited because it's Les Mis!

Promised Land
Matt Damon and John Krasinski wrote the screenplay. How can it be bad?

Gangster Squad
Finally! I've wanted to see this since the summer when it was supposed to come out.

Struck By Lightning
This looks pretty great. I can't stand Kurt on Glee, but Chris Colfer seems amazing here.

Broken City
It kinda seems like a typical Mark Wahlberg movie, but there's nothing wrong with that.

Movie 43
I want to see this because of the incredible cast of 43 actors, but it looks sooooooo stupid.

Agreed about that Movie 43, looks questionable.
I hadn't heard about Struck By Lightning. That looks interesting and it has Rebel Wilson in it! I'm also not a huge fan of Kurt, but maybe I'll be able to stand him here.
I really hope Les Mis is good! I can't wait to see it!

I am such a sucker for romantic comedies ... lame I know but anyway. So I can't wait for This is 40 and Save the Date. I also really want to see Broken City and Jack Reacher. Sadly, I am very disappointed with the casting of Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher. I love the books and he just does not fit the description of what Jack looks like.

Dayum this is the most extensive list of movies ever! And I love it! I never go see movies in the theater but and when they come out on DVD I've already forgotten about them. I need to start updating my Netflix according to your posts!

The Hobbit, Jack Reacher, and Les Mis are at the top of my list.

And it's me. I'm the one who doesn't want to see This is 40. I hated Knocked Up.
