Influenster Beauty Bloggers VoxBox

I was so excited to get a Beauty Bloggers VoxBox from Influenster, especially after I saw what was inside it. I love trying new beauty products! Here's what I got:

Not Your Mother's Smooth Moves Frizz Control Hair Cream I don't really have frizzy hair, but it is fine and I have tons of fly aways. I feel like it really helped with that, especially since it's been so staticky lately. I also really like the light coconut smell and that it doesn't feel heavy or greasy in my hair.

Product, after drying, after straightening

NYC New York Color IndividualEyes Custom Compact I was surprised how much I liked this all-in-one compact. It contains four shadows, plus primer and highlighter. I received the brown eyes compact and I have blue(-ish gray), but I only really wear browns, so it kinda worked. The primer was great, the highlighter was bright, and I like the shadow. It didn't flake and it lasted all day. I just wish the colors were more vibrant. I'm definitely picking up another color palette, probably some smokey shades. I also wish they sold the primer separately. I loved it.

Product, final look, morning, night

Bath & Body Works Mini Candle in Cider Lane Yum! This is the first thing I used when I got my box. I was so excited for this scent because apple cider is my favorite in the fall! It's described as "a trip to the local apple orchard, fusing mulled cider and warm caramel with a hint of sweet cinnamon." I thought it smelled just like a red caramel apple. Yum! Unfortunately they are sold out of this one, but I can't wait to shop for other fall scents with the coupon they enclosed.

EBOOST I received a sample of this in my last VoxBox, but I tried it again anyway. I used less water this time so I could chug it easier. It actually tasted better that way. I do feel like it gave me a little bit of a boost. Maybe I should pick some up and see if it makes a difference over the long run.

While I was mixing it, Nolan said it looked like his candy corn

Goody Simple Styles Spin Pin I had these in my cart at Target earlier this year, but put them back because my hair was too short. Since it's grown out a little, I thought they might work, but I just have too many annoying layers. My hair is fine and thin and my ends kept popping out. I could also see the ends of the pins. I tried over and over and over, but they didn't work for me. I was surprised by the hold though. When you get them in right, they stayed in place. I think they might work for longer and/or thicker hair.

Product, my repeated attempts, it just didn't work

Kiss Ever Pro Lashes Starter Kit I've only worn fake eyelashes one time...on my wedding day. And the makeup artist put them on for me. I tried again with some cheap brand another time, but couldn't get it right and never bothered with them again, so I was excited to get these. It took a few tries but I got them on in under ten minutes. I love the latex-free adhesive (much easier to use than messy tubes of glue) and the applicator was helpful so I could keep my fingers out of the way. I had to trim them a little but they fit nicely and stayed on without any problems. Since I'm a newbie to falsies they felt a little heavy at first, but later in the night I was sure they had fallen off since I didn't notice them anymore. Haha! I like them, I will wear them more often, and can't wait to try some other styles now that I got the hang of it. This was a great little kit.

Product, one eye with the lashes/one without, both eyes, they look full and dark. I like!

Whoa. Are you sick of seeing my face? Cause I'm sick of showing it!
Let me know in the comments if you'd like an invitation to Influenster. I've got four to give and it's so much fun!
I received each product complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster.
All opinions are my own.

I'd love to rock false eyelashes. Same thing here, I've only worn them on my wedding day. Those look great!

I need to get my hands on the frizz control cream! My hair has been sooooo staticy lately it makes me sick... I feel like a 4 year that ran their hair on a balloon.
The last picture of the set is gorgeous of you!!! Love it!

I loved all of these products. The spin pins work really well on my hair. But I have very thick long hair so I can easily tuck the ends in. The only thing I haven't tried is the eyelashes. I may just wear them around the house for fun.

Score! These are some pretty cool products! They were going to send me all oral care products this time around so I didn't sign up. But a B&BW candle? Nice!

I just recently found the Goody pins I bought like a year ago. They worked for me but I had to figure them out a bit, and my hair is pretty long.

The lashes and eyeshadow look great on you!

I seriously don't understand Influenster. Ha! And girl? You look smokin' with those eyelashes. Love it! In other news, I'm coming over and stealing that candle. ;)

I saw the spiral things, took one look and said that'll never work for me. Ha!

I can't wait to get more goodies from Influenster. I just started my Crest Whitestrips and apparently I'll earn a box after I answer some stuff about them. Yay!

Oh, and I've always wanted to try fake lashes, but I'm scurd.

Interesting box. The makeup looks good on you! I have spin pins... haven't used them ages! I have layes in my hair so there's always pieces sticking out when using them. Another blogger reviewed that fly away cream and I was thoroughly impressed... may have to try it :)
