Tim Burton Treats

Jacob and I love Tim Burton. We both think he's a genius and never miss a movie (read my review of Frankenweenie here).

The Nightmare Before Christmas is Jacob's favorite movie. I don't really know anyone who doesn't like it. I mean, it mixes Halloween and Christmas and it's a musical! (With music by Danny Elfman, who has composed for 85 movies and tv shows and founded the band Oingo Boingo). The 19 year old movie still inspires all sorts of people, including bakers and cake decorators. Check these out:

Those are amazing! I decided to give it a go. Remember, I'm completely untalented, unskilled, uncrafty, un... well, everything. Even though it was just Jack Skellington's easy face, I couldn't do it. But Nolan and I had fun creating all kinds of monsters.

Look at Nolan's purple one, top right. So cute!
They tasted good. That's all that matters.
Happy Halloween!

I'm unskilled and uncrafty too. I always pick the easy stuff and usually screw that up. Love the cookies!

Those cookies turned out amazing! When we were at Disney it was all about The Nightmare Before Christmas at the Haunted House.
It's actually on my desktop right now. :)
