So, The Flannel Shirt Deal...

...Is that a nod to the crispy Seattle weather or are you just trying to stay warm in front of the refrigerator?

When I see flannel I instantly think about the '90s.

Or this guy.

But flannel shirts have been around forever and celebs have been wearing them for years.

I recently bought my first flannel since 1996 from Old Navy and wore it to the corn maze.

"She could be a farmer in those clothes."

What do you think about a flannel shirt?
Is it too '90s? Is it lazy and grungy? Can it be stylish?
Would you wear one?

Flannels remind me of my dad. He has ALWAYS worn flannels. I used to take them out of his closet and wear them when I was younger. I have one that I wear now around the house. Thanks for reminding me of warm and cozy feelings. I'm going to ask my mom to send me some of my dads old flannels :) Hopefully he won't mind.

Yes, I always think about 90s grunge. Luckily I love the 90s grunge, so I embrace the flannel. :)

Yes! I wear flannel shirts all the time! I love trying to make them look stylish, and trust me they can.
I get mine from the little boys department because they have the best color combos. ha.

Oh yes, flannel shirts can definitely be stylish. You can pair them with other cute items and boots. Sometimes I cheat on the flannel material itself and just do the plaid but I think that's ok :)

i like plaid more than plaid flannel, if that makes sense, only bc flannel makes me sweat, lol

Flannels are awesome! They might be a little grunge, but they can also be very classy! It depends on how you style them!

1. I love this post.
2. I love the Clueless quote and pic.
3. Aw, I miss Luke, Loralei and Rory.
4. I own a really cute pink and blue flannel that I wear with skinnies and boots. I think flannel is timeless because it can be worn so many different ways.

Haha you don't look like a farmer! I think it looks cute! Is it sad that the only flannel I have right now looks identical to the one Luda is wearing?! :O Lol!!

I always think of grunge too. But I also think it's a trend that'll never really go out of style.

I love Clueless...top 5 fave movie and top 5 quoted movie for me!! I love flannel as well. I have 1 left over from my flannel craze back in junior high...i couldn't bear to throw it away and thank goodness because it is getting used again (around the house, but still)

Gilmore Girls!! Flannel shirts can be very 90s depending on how you wear them. Although thats a big trend right now so I'm all about. I'm not so much a fan of the cowboy/wild wild west look of flannel. I try to keep it more "grungy" when wearing them. But they're super comfy and great for fall :)
