I got tagged yesterday by Jen at Boys Will Be Boys. We just recently became blog buds, but I feel like I’ve known her forever. I’m supposed to share some random things about myself and then answer some questions. Here we go!

I hold my breath when I flush the toilet. You’ve all seen that 20/20 segment about how the particles fly all over your bathroom and contaminate everything, right? My toothbrush is also in a drawer.

I used to smoke clove cigarettes. When I was 18. For about a month. It probably only amounted to a pack and a half. Still! What an idiot.

I think soccer players are the hottest athletes. Hockey and baseball are my favorite sports, but there’s just something about a soccer player.

Yes, Beckham is in there three times

I've only used my juicer twice. I begged Jacob to get me one for my birthday in January. We tried it twice and put it away. Juice is pretty expensive to make! I really should bring it back out and look up some recipes.

I call both of my boys Lou/Louie. It all started when Nolan was a baby. I called him Stinky Lou Who when changing his diaper one morning. For some reason the Lou part stuck. I guess it was such a habit that when Milo was born, he also became Lou. When they are sad, tired or hurt the Louie name comes out.

I don’t like wine, beer, coffee or tea. Gasp!

I love ‘90s music. I can’t stop listening to it lately. I guess enough time has passed and now when I listen to the songs I grew up with memories come rushing back. I can pinpoint certain places, people and emotions instantly. I really don’t feel old enough to be reminiscing about music from two decades ago, but I’ve been out of high school for fifteen years. FIFTEEN?! I’m. So. Old.

Speaking of the past, I’ve been thinking about my high school boyfriend. For some reason when I was pregnant with both of my kids I thought about him a lot. I’m over it and have been forever, so it must have been something about how far I’ve come, how much I’ve grown or how my life has changed. I just wonder what he’s been up to and if he’s happy. I haven’t talked to him in ten years. And no, I'm not pregnant, so I don't know what's up with this.

I’m sooo excited for The Olympics! I watched some of the prelims this weekend. Diving was actually here in Seattle last Tuesday. I’m pretty pumped!

I always wanted to call Miss Cleo. My friend and almost did one time but we always heard horror stories about the phone bill and were too afraid to get in trouble.

And now for the questions.

1. What is your profession? I’m profession-less right now. I was a paralegal before I had kids and I plan to go back to that once they are in school, but for the time being I’m a stay at home mom. I don’t want to miss out on their little lives!

2. How would you describe your style? Um, style-less? Haha! I’m definitely a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl. I almost always have a cardigan on. I wear sweaters and slacks in the winter. I love and appreciate fashion; I just don’t implement it in my life.

3. What one make-up product can you not live without? Eyeliner. I have to wear it every day. My eyes are small and my skin is pale. Eyeliner gives them a pop.

4. If you could be besties with one celebrity, who would it be? Tough choice! I love my girl, Britney, but I don’t know that we’d be the best of friends. I have to go with Gwen Stefani or Lily Allen. They are talented, smart, and inspirational. They have a good sense of who they are and seem like a lot of fun. Plus, they’re moms. We could do play dates.

5. What is your dream vacation? South Africa, hands down. I don’t think that’ll ever happen for me. Jacob is not interested. I want to go on safari, relax on the beach, explore the city, get lost in the culture, and visit some friends of ours!

6. What magazines do you subscribe to? Tons! We’re magazine freaks, even in this day and age. I get Us Weekly, Entertainment Weekly, Glamour, Rolling Stone, Fitness, Parents, and Family Fun. Jacob gets Snowboarder and Backpacker. Nolan even gets National Geographic Little Kids! Oh, and I just got Readers Digest. It was free with some purchase and you know what? I don’t hate it.

7. If you could have any special talent {that you don't currently have}, what would it be? Singing. I love to sing. I do it all day, every day and pretend that I’m awesome. But I’m not.

8. What is your favorite breakfast food? I love it all! Jacob makes a big breakfast every weekend and it’s my favorite meal of the week! I guess if I had to choose only one thing, it would be bacon because it’s really the only time that I eat it and it’s sooo good.

9. If you could do anything, what is your dream job? If we’re talking about having some awesome talent that I don’t currently have, I would be on Broadway. Or an interior decorator. But if it’s got to be something I’m familiar with, I’d be a political campaign manager.

10. What is your guilty pleasure? I have lots and lots of pleasures, but I don’t really consider them guilty. I probably should! A few are Beverly Hills, 90210, BBQ Pringles, celebrity gossip websites, Red Hots, PJ pants, singing in the car at the top of my lungs, movie theater popcorn WITH butter, and New Kids on the Block (then and now).

 Don't judge

Ok so you are going to think I'm making this up but my hubs calls Logan, Lou. And I dream abt my high school bf all the time. So weird. My answer for style was also going to be style less. My mouth drops open every time I find out more abt you. We really are the same person!

Thanks for the tag! I am so bad at these but I'm gonna try :)

Lol I totally smoked clove cigarettes for a summer. With my asthma. Worst idea ever! With my luck that'll probably result in lung cancer lol.

And now I am going to hold my breath when flushing the toilet...and start watching the Olympics. I never get into in. I'm dumb haha!
