Chloe Moretz

As embarrassing as this is to admit, I wish I had the style of a 15 year old. Chloe Moretz was born in February of 1997. At that time I had just turned 18 and was enjoying my senior year in high school. She’s just a baby! But I love her. She’s absolutely adorable and so talented.

You might remember the controversy around her character Hit Girl in the movie Kick-Ass a few years ago. Everyone was horrified by the violence and profanity (especially the use of the c word) of this darling 11 year old girl. I thought she was amazing and so did the critics. It’s called acting, people.

That same year she played a 12-year-old vampire in Let Me In.

She’s also appeared in The Amityville Horror, 500 Days of Summer, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Desperate Housewives, and Hugo.
But I fell in love with her this year when she guest starred on 30 Rock as Kaylie Hooper.

And I can’t wait to see her in Dark Shadows this summer.

I think she has the best red carpet style for someone her age. Take a look.

Keep your eye on this girl, she’s going to be around for a long time. You’ll find her tons of movies over the next two years: The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea (with Jessica Biel and Jeffrey Dean Morgan), The Rut (with Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Ray Liotta), The Drummer (with Rupert Grint, Vera Farmiga and Aaron Eckhart), Dance of the Mirlitons (with Kristen Bell), and in the remake of Carrie (with Julianne Moore). I can’t wait to see more of her!

She's is pretty darn awesome! I always enjoy her in whatever flick I see her in. She pulls off this whole edgy and sweet at the same time thing. It's kinda confusing, but works really well for her for some reason!

She has great style and is super pretty. Wasn't 1997 a great year? I was 18 and a senior in high school too. :)
